camp out or a mini rally

I am try to get a feeling to see if there enough interest in have a no-frills camp out or a mini rally. I believe we have enough money to put something together. What I am looking for is a site, a time frame, and volunteers to help put this on if we go forward.

I'd be willing to serve on a committee to help out with this. Sounds like it could be fun and a great way to meet and get to know others. -Trapper

I found a location for a mini-rally on the gluf coast, But now I have to wait and see what the oil spill is going to do. Because the spot was on the water and this location may now fill up with clean up crews.

I am still looking forward to meeting a few others. The RA Rally is fast approaching so that may be our first real workable gathering, in the short term. However, hopefully they can have that oil cleaned up in a couple months, then may be you can have that mini-rally/campout on the gluf coast. I am not sure exactly where that is however, since you mentioned the BP oil spill I figure it must be near where you live. I would certainly take a couple days ride to enjoy something down there this Fall. May be Octoberfest time before the snows get real permanent here up North. Any time before Thanksgiving can usually be ok. Much after that and we can count on the grounds around where I live, to be white and not very safe for much motorcycling.
