I am try to get a feeling to see if there enough interest in have a no-frills camp out or a mini rally. I believe we have enough money to put something together. What I am looking for is a site, a time frame, and volunteers to help put this on if we go forward.

Rallies update 2009

Just over 3 weeks on the road and over 4000 miles on the motorcycle myself and my daughter have arrived home. We attend both the MOA and the RA rally, and went to Columbus OH to visits family members. At the MOA rally on Friday night gathering I cooked up 4 large boxes of brats that contained 12 brats each, and a case of beer and assorted drinks. We had over 27 individuals attend this gathering and I awarded the BMW MOA Coin to Jerry Murdock of Littleton CO in which he traveled just over 1400 mile to attend the MOA rally and attend our gathering.

At the RA we did not have a cook out but I did give out an award, which was a 1 year free membership to the RA. I give this award out to Karl Mace of San Juan TX for traveling over 1500 mile to the RA rally and attending the Black water Chicken run which was a chartable event to raise money for the local children.

After both rallies and selling a good sum of our pins and decals, the kitty now stand at $450.00 and sum change. I still have plenty of pins and decals if you did miss me at both rallies you can contact me at mljohnston1@bellsouth.net to get either pins or decals.

I f you have any stories to add to our website please post you stories for other to share your experiences and maybe find some new roads to travel on.
